I worked full time from home with my 1 year old daughter before lockdown and now, finally, have my husband home with me full time, too. Even though it’s hard for him, he’s happier to be near her all day. It is hard to leave your kid for work and it is hard to work at home with your kid. My deepest wish for humanity is that all parents have more flexibility to make their work-life balance something that nourishes the spirit better. I firmly believe that we can all maintain high levels of productivity while being excellent parents (I know we can because I did it alone for a year before lockdown.) May you all become the masters of your own routines after the pandemic ends!
